Educating your daughter

Education starts in the home, within the family. It continues as she joins a playgroup, school, college and perhaps university. Decisions, decisions...!!!

5-7

Now your daughter is moving out into the educational world where she will spend much of her next eleven or more years. She will be meeting new children and adults as well as acquiring new skills and knowledge. She will discover more and more about herself: who she likes; what she enjoys; what she finds harder and who she is. Your interest, support, encouragement and praise are key to her success and enjoyment of her school days. By encouraging her wider interests and activities you can provide a richer environment for her to explore. By being as involved with her life, though in a different way than in her early years, you can build her self-esteem and give her the confidence to blossom. You will learn about her expanding world as she starts to flourish in new surroundings.
