Educated at Kendal High School she read English at Newnham College, Cambridge before taking up her first teaching post at the Royal Masonic School, Rickmansworth where she became Head of English.

Alice is firmly committed to girls’ education and issues. Mother of a 10 year old daughter, she combines a professional role advising and guiding parents of girls with hands on practical at home! As she says, “No one prepares any of us for parenting. It is great when we can club together to share experiences or offer expertise”.
