Hollygirt School

Hollygirt School is an independent day school for girls aged 3 to 16 situated on a tree-lined pedestrian avenue in the heart of Nottingham.

The school provides a warm, friendly and supportive environment where girls can perform to the best of their ability. Examination results are excellent and high expectations promote respect for each other. Last year, 98% girls achieved 5 or more A*-C grades at GCSE.

ICT is taught throughout the school, French from age 7 and German from age 12. Specialist support is available for girls with mild learning difficulties.

Activities include: D of E, choir, orchestra, school band, dance, drama, cooking, netball, chess, theatre visits and regular UK and international trips. Individual music or speech and drama lessons are also available.

Entrance is usually at age 3 or 4 or 11 although a few places exist in other years. Academic and music scholarships are available from age 11.
