More House School

Situated in Central London, with excellent access to museums, galleries and concert halls, More House is ideally placed to make the most of the Capital’s cultural life. Class sizes are small ~ on average 15 at KS3 and smaller still for GCSE and A Level ~ which guarantees individual attention. Built on the Catholic notion of ‘worth’, we believe that all girls are different and thus we are structured accordingly in terms of size and attention to pastoral care. Being a small school we are in a position to be able to offer all our girls the opportunity to take part fully in the life of the school, and not just those who are part of an elite. Although both Arts, Sciences and Sport are strong here, Creative and Performing Arts form a central part of the life of our school ~ one of our choirs tours internationally each year and 6 of our GCSE artists were placed in the top 10 in 32,526 entries. We pride ourselves on being willing to admit SpLD learners and being able to make the same good provision for them that we do for our gifted and talented learners. We believe that everyone matters and behave accordingly, both in our everyday lives and our commitment to charity work.
