Overview

St Paul’s has an iconic place in women’s education – and not only because we achieve exceptional exam results. It is a socially inclusive community of 700 girls and more than 75 staff that fosters academic attainment and reflects the richness, diversity and aspirations of London itself. A St Paul’s education isn’t about passing exams. It’s about stimulating intellectual curiosity, opening young minds to new ideas and preparing the girls for a future in which the pace of technological, professional and practical change will become faster and more challenging. More importantly, the confident, out-going young women who leave us have been equipped to make the most of the many opportunities that will come their way as the 21st century unfolds. Seeing students happy and confident in the school and in themselves is our top priority. We encourage students to take responsibility for themselves and respect other people’s right to be different. Girls need to meet high academic standards to win a place at St Paul’s. The education we offer is designed to stretch and develop the best young minds in London, so it’s important that we identify the girls who will most enjoy and benefit from it, regardless of their previous schooling and whatever their background.
