“I can’t put into words what St Teresa’s has given to our daughter but I do know that, if it could be bottled, people would be queuing up to buy it!” (Spoken by the mother of one of our UVI leavers last Summer.)
St Teresa’s School is a girls’ independent day and boarding school with just under 500 pupils from 2-18 years and a ‘can do’ ethos. We provide the challenges and opportunities for each girl to develop fully her interests and abilities, both inside and outside the classroom. Flexibility is the key to enable all our students to achieve to their maximum – wherever their talents lie.
In Summer 2008, 73% of all A level grades were A and B. 2008 GCSE results were also excellent with 76% of grades being A* to B and a staggering 54% at A* and A. Impressive results from a broad ability intake! Unsurprisingly, the school’s value-added scores are off the scale.
But St Teresa’s is not just about academic performance. Girls achieve remarkable things in art, drama, sport and music. We are proud of their Duke of Edinburgh awards, public speaking triumphs, the way they rise to the tests of World Challenge and of their humanity and care for others. Come and meet them!
