Brigidine School Windsor has been a significant part of Windsor life for the last 60 years. No longer a convent school, Brigidine welcomes children of all faiths or none. It places great value on its Catholic ethos based on the principles of its founders – the Sisters of the Order of St Brigid.
At Brigidine the individual needs of all students are catered for. Small class sizes allow for personalised education programmes to be established, nurturing talents that the students have. Independent thinking and learning are encouraged, ensuring that girls leaving Brigidine are fully prepared for Higher Education and work with the necessary transferable skills.
Children may join us at age 2 and enjoy our excellent Nursery which has recently received a glowing Ofsted report. Boys remain with us up to the age of 7 if they wish but girls may progress through the primary stage to the senior school at age 11 when they are joined by other girls transferring to the secondary stage. Where there are vacancies in year groups, pupils may join us at any point. We offer a wide range of GCSE and A-Level subjects and our leavers go on to Oxford and Cambridge, Russel Group Universities, to Art Colleges and Drama or Music Schools. We concentrate on the whole person at Brigidine. Academic subjects are extremely sound but we also encourage the creative and expressive talents to be explored.
