The Lady Eleanor Holles School provides girls with exceptional opportunities that allow them to develop their individual characters and talents. The school, set within extensive playing fields and gardens and blessed with outstanding facilities provides an environment that is both inspirational and supportive.
Burlington House, an elegant, refurbished building adjacent to the main school, provides a happy, secure and stimulating environment for girls aged 7 to 11. The Junior Department seeks to develop bright, happy and confident girls, the majority of whom proceed to the Senior Department at eleven.
The special characteristics of the Senior Department include not only the high academic standards for which it is nationally renowned, but a well-balanced, purposeful and productive environment. Girls enjoy their studies, but also relish the range of opportunities the school provides in sport, the creative arts and many extra-curricular activities,
In its recently published Inspection Report, the ISI judged that “The quality of the educational experience provided throughout the school is outstanding” and “balances the successful attainment of outstanding public examination results with the pursuit of excellence in the extensive extra-curricular programme”.
