From Daycare and Nursery to GCSEs and A levels The Royal School’s welcoming and friendly environment is definitely worth a look.

Our daycare facilities are a home from home with small groups of children, indoor and outdoor play areas and all food cooked on site. We are open 51 weeks a year from 8am – 6pm.

Nursery, Pre Prep and Prep at the Junior School enjoy a flexible learning programme that teaches according to ability rather than age group and all girls receive specialist tuition in French, music and PE.

We are in the top 2% nationally for value added education and our 2008 GCSE results were three times better than the national average. Our A level results were also excellent with 52% achieving A grades.

Such excellent results from a mixed ability group is truly rewarding for the girls and their teachers. The essence of our success is the quality of the relationships between the teachers and the taught. Small teaching groups give everyone the opportunity to take a full part in the learning process.
