The Wimbledon Ursuline Preparatory School

Our thriving presently co-educational IAPS Preparatory School, is settled on a relaxed and friendly school village site. Indeed our Early Years Department (for boys and girls aged 3 to 5 years) was judged “OUTSTANDING IN ALL CATEGORIES” by OFSTED, July 2008, and so offers truly individual attention to detail, whilst facilitating excellent progression for pupils. Governors and Trustees have decided to build on our existing excellent all girls 7 – 11 years offer, by extending this to pre-prep from September 2010 (4 – 11). This is an exciting point in the life of our prep school, which will see an expanding Nursery school (presently and remaining co-educational) settle into its new Nursery School Cottage in September 2010. As a result of this development we are thrilled to be able to convert our existing Nursery Unit into a Design and Art Studio for the use of girls aged 5 – 11 years.

Our aim is to provide an inspiring, friendly and enabling environment, in which every pupil is supported in realising her true potential in the academic, creative, physical and spiritual spheres. In keeping with our Motto, Serviam, and in following those pioneering principles of our Foundress, St Angela Merici, we seek to show care and concern for others, and foster a spirit of community. All at the Wimbledon Ursuline Prep School are strongly encouraged to achieve their personal best and to look to the future with confidence.
