If you were to ask our current parents why they chose Westholme for their child, they would probably tell you that the pupils here are happy, balanced, at ease with themselves and with each other – yet at the same time excited and enthused by the challenges before them.

They might also add that Westholme achieves that rare distinction of combining academic excellence with a wealth of practical experience and extra-curricular opportunities so that each child is stimulated, educated and developed to their full potential.

Westholme has a long and proud record of academic achievement but we still consider ourselves to be a “family” school where we develop the whole person. In 2010, our A Level examination results returned a 100% pass rate, with 68% of pupils gaining A*, A and B grades. In our GCSE examinations, 100% of our candidates obtained at least 8 GCSE’s at grades A* – C, 60% of which were A* or A grades. We believe that education and learning should be fun and your child’s happiness is our number one priority. Westholme is a place where children learn, develop and yet enjoy themselves in a totally safe and friendly environment.
