Wimbledon High School GDST

If the evidence of a good school is in its examination results, then Wimbledon High School scores highly. With 92% of A level grades A or B, and all leavers going on to full time education (the majority to top universities across the country), the school is clearly “at the top of the class”.

Yet WHS students know there is so much more to school than that. As one put it: “I came new into the sixth form. I feel I’ve done more at WHS in two years than in all the rest of my school life.”

Education should be fun, so we offer excellent facilities and an extensive range of extra-curricular activities at all ages. At a time when we place so many restrictions on our children, at WHS we give them the space and confidence to explore the new, to become independent, and to take risks. We want each girl to discover her own interests, to find her place to shine.

Every step of the way, our dedicated staff and framework of pastoral care ensure that students are supported and encouraged to aspire to and reach success in all aspects, and, since we offer a continuous education from 4 to 18, at all stages of their school lives.
