Wykeham House School

We are a small school with outstanding pastoral care where we aim to ensure every girl reaches, or exceeds, her potential and that she also has an education that goes beyond the classroom.

Life at Wykeham House is very varied and stimulating with a true family feel. The age range of three years to sixteen years allows us to develop the girls’ confidence and leadership skills with an almost seamless transition across the different departments of the school. Our facilities are excellent and girls can pursue their interests outside the classroom with our varied list of extra curricular activities. Trips play an important part in our school life and the recent senior visit to New York was very popular.

We firmly believe that an all girl environment enhances the learning opportunities available and our girls’ maturity and independence are a testament to this.

Our GCSE results for 2008 show that the school is academically very successful with almost 50% of our grades at A/A* and all the girls achieving at least 5 A* to C grades including English, Mathematics, Science and a Modern Foreign Language.
